FES: Frequently Existing String (Compression Method)

FES is a compression method, that is developed by Christopher Hanna and Dankrad Feist.

You can find the successor to FES here. CAT provides better compression, a smaller database (FES has ca. 25 MB, CAT uses ~500 kB). It will be available for PalmOS handhelds (for reading E-Books) soon.
